SUSTAINABILITY AT EVERY STEP
At HERTH, every detail matters - fabrics, colors, craftsmanship, and even the packaging and shipping - all thoughtfully designed to ensure both quality and sustainability.

 

 

FABRIC
We exclusively use GOTS Certified Organic Silk, a renewable, biodegradable, cruelty-free, and CO2-neutral fiber. From cultivation to production, our silk is created without harmful chemicals, pesticides, or fertilizers, preserving energy and water resources while protecting the environment. Free from elastane, our pure silk garments are 100% recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable, leaving no trace behind.

DYES AND TEXTILE PRINTING
HERTH’s color palette is a signature feature - each hue is uniquely created for us without the use of chemical substances. We use biological, biodegradable, non-toxic, and skin-friendly dyes, and our dyeing and digital printing processes consume less energy and water, reducing CO2 emissions. Both our dyeing and printing processes are GOTS certified for sustainability.

DESIGN
We embrace a Zero Pattern Waste philosophy and a Slow Fashion mindset. Every collection is carefully designed to eliminate fabric waste, offering timeless, seasonless pieces that mix and match effortlessly. Our goal is to inspire thoughtful, conscious consumption.

 

 

100% ITALIAN CRAFTSMANSHIP
Every HERTH garment is handcrafted in Italy by local artisans under fair working conditions. By working with Italian-certified entities, we support local businesses and minimize our carbon footprint, with suppliers concentrated in northern Italy for simplified logistics.

BLOCKCHAIN TRANSPARENCY
We believe in total transparency. Thanks to Blockchain technology, you can trace the journey of your HERTH garment across our Italian supply chain, verifying our processes and certifications with ease.

TECH PACK
We meticulously select every detail of our garments. Metal accessories are crafted from Zamak - an eco-friendly, nickel-free, and fully recyclable alloy. Our zippers are made from GOTS certified organic cotton and eco-friendly Zamak.

 

 

   

OUR PACKAGING
Our boxes and tissue paper are made from responsibly sourced, FSC-certified materials, printed with water-based ink. Our bags are 100% compostable and biodegradable, while our tags are made from recycled FSC-approved cardboard, and labels from GRS-certified recycled polyester. 

GREEN SHIPPING
We partner with DHL Express Go Green Climate Neutral and UPS Carbon Neutral for worldwide shipping. These eco-friendly solutions offset our carbon footprint by supporting climate protection projects that improve lives in developing countries.

TO GIVE BACK TO THE PLANET 
As part of our commitment to the environment, we partner with “One Percent for The Planet” donating 1% of our total annual sales to support environmental causes.
