THE MATERIAL
Organic silk. From a certified source.
Every HERTH garment begins with organic silk sourced from GOTS-certified suppliers in Como — a natural, biodegradable fibre produced within certified supply chains that avoid harmful chemical processing at every stage.
We avoid synthetic blends, keeping our garments pure in composition — easier to care for, longer-lasting, and simpler to return to the natural cycle at the end of their life.
COLOUR & DYEING
A palette developed with precision
HERTH's exclusive colour palette is developed with certified Italian partners using low-impact dyeing processes and digital printing — formulated under strict chemical safety standards, designed to reduce water and energy use without compromising colour quality or longevity.
Each shade is created specifically for HERTH — outside standard supplier folders, developed through the silk itself. The result is a palette that is as traceable as the fabric it colours.
DESIGN & PRODUCTION
Designed to last. Made to be kept.
Every HERTH silhouette is seasonless by design — fluid, versatile, and built around longevity rather than trend cycles. We produce in small batches in northern Italy, minimising overproduction and reducing waste across every collection.
Pattern-making is approached with the same restraint as design — making the most of every metre of organic silk, with clean cuts and considered construction that leave nothing to waste.

Nickel-free Zamak metal accessories — durable, skin-kind, and produced by certified Italian suppliers.
ZIPPERS
Organic cotton zippers where applicable — consistent with our commitment to material purity throughout.
Traceability
Each care label carries a QR code linked to our blockchain traceability platform — verifiable from fibre to finish.
Packaging
Considered outside and in
Our packaging is designed with the same care as our garments — because the experience of receiving a HERTH piece should reflect everything the brand stands for.
Boxes & tissue — Made from FSC-certified materials, printed with water-based inks.
Bags — 100% compostable and biodegradable.
Tags & labels — Tags from recycled FSC-approved cardboard. Labels from GRS-certified recycled polyester.
SHIPPING
Delivered with care
We ship worldwide with trusted couriers offering carbon-neutral or climate-compensated delivery options — supporting certified climate projects designed to offset the emissions associated with transportation.
