Our silk has a beautiful hand, is sustainably produced and our manufacturers are paid a fair, living wage. We produce everything in Italy and we also are committed to using recycled and recyclable materials in every aspect of our clothing and packaging. The most common problem that’s encountered when recycling fabric is the presence of mixed fibers in the fabric. For this reason, HERTH uses only fabric that is made from one fiber, silk, to facilitate the recycling process.
Yes, our dyeing process is completely natural, has a low environmental impact and is biodegradable. We digitally print our fabrics, allowing for a lower energy and water consumption and fewer CO2 emissions. Both the dyeing and printing process are sustainable, eco friendly, energy saving with smart water and GOTS certified. And, since our skin absorbs up to 65% of any substance (harmful or not) we put it into contact with. It’s especially important to know what we’re wearing.
All of our products are Made in Italy. Every piece in HERTH’s collections is produced in Veneto, Italy by local artisans in ethical work conditions. Since the suppliers are concentrated in the northern part of Italy, logistics are simplified and reduces our carbon footprint. We work exclusively with companies that have our same values and are have been certified as environmentally friendly.

Exchanges and Returns
HERTH does not accept returns or exchanges for items worn, damaged, washed, altered or used. Items must be returned in their original packaging, with all tags still attached and in perfect condition. Please include the original itemized list in the package. Returns cannot be combined with other orders. We suggest you use a shipping service with tracking available and make sure to save the tracking number. HERTH is not responsible in case of loss, theft or damage of the shipment.

If exchanging an item, we are happy to help and send you free of charge the item you prefer if you are in one of these countries. Exchanges are subject to availability. Our return policy is applicable to full price items and promotional items. PLEASE NOTE that hair accessories are not returnable or exchangeable. We offer returns on all orders, within 14 days of receiving your order. Orders placed between November 10th – December 31th have a longer return period until the 15th of January. The costs related to the return of the item is at the customer’s expense, except damaged or defective items. Refunds are processed within 7 days of HERTH receiving the returned package, if not earlier. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed by us. The processing time also varies based on your financial institution. Shipping costs are non-refundable, except damaged or defective items.

Hand wash with silk suitable natural detergent in cold water. This practice can reduce your energy impact by up to 90%.
If left for too long in the water, the silk may lose luminosity.
DO NOT scrub, wring or put in the dryer.
Lay out horizontally to air dry, do not directly expose to the sun.
If necessary, iron inside out on low temperature and avoid using steam.
For stains, use only natural soap suitable for silk.
