Sustainable fashion generally costs more due to a commitment to quality, ethics, and the environment. At HERTH, we source the highest quality certified organic silk from Como, Italy, known for its beautiful texture and sustainable production. We also ensure our Italian manufacturers are paid a fair, living wage, and we use recycled and recyclable materials in packaging. Producing everything locally in Italy and upholding premium quality, ethical, and environmental standards are core to our values. We strive to offer the best possible price while staying true to these principles. We believe it’s worth the cost, and we’re confident you’ll agree once you experience our clothing for yourself.

Yes, our dyeing process is certified, completely biological, and biodegradable,
ensuring a low environmental impact. We digitally print our fabrics, reducing
energy and water consumption while minimizing CO2 emissions. Both our dyeing and printing processes are sustainable, eco-friendly, and certified to be free of heavy metals and harmful chemicals. They’re also non-toxic, non-allergenic, and gentle on the skin. Since our skin can absorb up to 65% of substances it contacts, we prioritize safe, natural materials for every HERTH garment.

All of our products are Made in Italy. Every piece in HERTH’s collections is produced in Italy by local artisans in ethical work conditions. Since the suppliers are concentrated in the northern part of Italy, logistics are simplified and reduces our carbon footprint. We work exclusively with companies that have our same values and are have been certified as environmentally friendly.

We can cancel your order the same day it’s been placed if it still has not been processed. To request a cancellation, please contact us at customercare@byherth.com or by WhatsApp. If the order has already been processed, you can return your item. We’re always happy to receive feedback, please feel free to let us know why you are unsatisfied and if you wish to return your item.

Items available for pre-order are listed on the product page, with estimated delivery time (not for immediate availability.) Please note, once the order is placed your payment will be processed in advance. You can cancel your order within 3 business days, contacting our Customer Care Service at customercare@byherth.com . If your purchase contains both pre-order and available items, the order will be shipped once we receive the pre-order items. If you wish to receive the available items first, we recommend placing two separate orders as we cannot separate items in an existing order.

Duties and taxes are not included in the cost. If you are based outside the EU you may be required to pay them. These fees will be fully charged to the customer. When your delivery reaches the country of destination, import duties and taxes are levied and payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs. We are unable to advise on rates as they vary according to the country. Please consult your local custom office for more information. Should you choose to not pay all applicable duties and the package is returned to sender HERTH is not responsible for any cost incurred. Customs taxes & duties are not applicable to orders under $800 (USA territory).

HERTH does not accept returns or exchanges for items worn, damaged, washed, altered or used. Items must be returned in their original packaging, with all tags still attached and in perfect condition. Please include the original itemized list in the package. Returns cannot be combined with other orders. Our return policy is applicable to full price items. As a small reality, we cannot accept returns on promotional items.

PLEASE NOTE: we do not offer refunds, return or exchanges on products from the Sample Sale. All items are final sale and may feature small imperfections.

HERTH is not responsible in case of loss, theft or damage of the shipment.

Send an email to custumercare@byherth.com specifying if it’s an exchange or return. If exchanging an item, we are happy to help and send you free of charge the item you prefer if you are in one of these countries. Exchanges are subject to availability. In case of exchange, the free shipping is only applicable to full price items.

Our return policy is applicable to full price items. As a small reality, we cannot accept returns on promotional items.

PLEASE NOTE that hair accessories are not returnable or exchangeable.

We offer returns on orders, within 14 days of receiving your order. Orders placed between November 30th – December 31th have a longer return period until the 10th of January. The costs, including any duties and taxes, related to the return or exchange of the item are at the customer’s expense, except damaged or defective items. When returning an item feel free to include a description of why you weren’t satisfied with the item, we love feedback!

Hand wash with silk suitable natural detergent in cold water. This practice can reduce your energy impact by up to 90%.
If left for too long in the water, the silk may lose luminosity.
DO NOT scrub, wring or put in the dryer.
Lay out horizontally to air dry, do not directly expose to the sun.
If necessary, iron inside out on low temperature and avoid using steam.
For stains, use only natural soap suitable for silk.
